Angus O’ Riordan
Angus began working in the Adult Education Sector in Dublin in 2006 as an ESOL tutor. He has primarily worked in an educational capacity with adult international protection applicants and refugees, along with tutoring on a separated children’s educational service.
Angus has worked as an ESOL tutor with Spirasi, the Dublin Adult Learning Centre and the City of Dublin Education and Training Board.
He has also facilitated several ESOL related workshops and has delivered training to adult education tutors, specifically around the area of ESOL literacy, and external issues that impact upon a learner’s educational journey. Angus has developed a pathway to further and higher education programme and has successfully tutored hundreds of learners in attaining certification in QQI ESOL Level 3, 4, & 5. Angus began working in the field of psychosocial support in 2020, and currently works as the psychosocial coordinator at Spirasi.
Angus holds a BA in Philosophy, and an MA in Ethnomusicology and an MA Development Studies.
